Dr Robin Luo has published widely in the fields of finance and economics over the past fifteen years with two books and more than 50 articles in international peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. He has particular interests in financial risk management, banking, fixed income, international finance, quantitative and qualitative methods, strategic management and decision making.
Robin is currently the Head of Research and Strategic Management, Deputy General Manager of Board Office, at the Bank of Dongguan, and Professor of Finance at Wuhan University. He was previously Director of Research and Development at CCXI, the largest credit rating agency in China. He has lectured at La Trobe University in Australia and AUT University in New Zealand.
In addition to his work with the University of Liverpool online DBA programme, he holds adjunct professorial positions at South China University of Technology and Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. He is a chartered Financial Risk Manager (FRM), Fellow of the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), and Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Financial Risk Management (JFRM), an international peer-reviewed journal published in US.
