Dr Beverly Neville holds a PhD in Health Education and an MSc in Public Health from the University of Utah, and a BS in Food Science and Nutrition from Brigham Young University. She is a registered dietician with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She has been teaching University of Liverpool online MPH students since 2010 and has a number of publications to her name.
In addition to her academic work, she is Bureau Manager of Health Promotion for Salt Lake County Health Department, supervising thirty health educators involved in community programmes to promote cardiovascular health, injury prevention and tobacco prevention. Beverly is fluent in Spanish, and has worked as a volunteer delivering public health services in Colombia and the Dominican Republic. She also developed and helps to maintain a community garden.
