Dr Walter received her PhD in Public Health from Walden University in 2010. She has been with the University of Liverpool since 2013 facilitating modules such as Health and Society, Policy and Programme Challenges in Low-Income Countries, and Health Protection: Preventing and Managing Communicable Diseases. She is also an Honorary Lecturer and Dissertation Advisor for Qualitative Research Studies. Dr Walter has published articles in peer-reviewed publications on the subject of alcohol consumption among US university students. She lives in the state of Iowa, in the United States. In her free time she enjoys outdoor activities, sports, travelling, and music.
