Kamran Khowaja is an online instructor, dissertation advisor and subject matter expert for University of Liverpool online postgraduate students.

With an MSc in Computer Science from the Asian Institute of Technology in Thailand, Kamran is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Isra University in Pakistan, where his responsibilities include teaching subjects at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and supervising final-year projects and postgraduate dissertations.

He is currently on leave to pursue his PhD in the Department of Software Engineering at University of Malaya, where he is exploring the use of serious games to facilitate children with autism spectrum disorder in improving their reading comprehension skills.

He is the author of a number of peer-reviewed research articles and conference papers, and regularly attends national and international conferences and workshops.
