Dr Lalit Garg has a PhD in computing and information engineering from the University of Ulster in the UK, in the area of healthcare modelling.

He is an instructor for online IT students at the University of Liverpool. He is also a lecturer at the University of Malta and has also held posts at the University of Ulster, the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, and several Indian universities.

He was a keynote lecturer at the 2014 4th International Conference on Computer Communication and Management in Paris and the International Conference on Technology and Information Systems 2010 in India. He was chair/co-chair of the 3rd International Conference on Computer Communication and Management 2013 in Copenhagen and the 2010 Conference on Applied Statistics in Ireland, and co-organised the 2nd International Health and Social Care Modelling Conference 2008 in the UK.

During his career, Lalit has supervised more than 75 masters dissertations in different research areas. Since 2007, he has published numerous articles, book contributions and conference papers on a wide range of IT/IS topics.
