Dr Tony Browne is an instructor and dissertation adviser for online students at the University of Liverpool, with special expertise in the areas of neurocomputing and bioinformatics.
Awarded a PhD in Computer Science (Neural Networks) from London’s South Bank University in 1995, Tony has worked in higher education since 2009 in various roles, including as a critical reader and subject matter expert.
The author of three books, he has given more than 40 presentations at industry conferences during his career and his research into distributed representation, bioinformatics and network analysis has been published by prominent journals for more than two decades.
Alongside his teaching duties, Tony runs his own machine learning/data mining and analytics consultancy. He previously worked as a senior lecturer at the University of Surrey.
