Dr Ward Ulmer is an honorary lecturer and dissertation advisor for online postgraduate students at the University of Liverpool.
Awarded a PhD in Higher Education Leadership from Eugene T. Moore School of Education in the United States, he also has a PhD in Applied Management/Information Systems from Walden University in the United States where he is Vice President of the College of Undergraduate Studies.
Dr Ulmer’s interests are focused on educational IT research. He has led published studies and produced papers on a variety of educational topics, and has explored the subjects of computer resources and information management in depth.
In his 25 year career he has served in numerous management and education roles, overseeing operations, projects and people. He has coordinated distance learning programmes and developed MBA programmes for a number of educational institutions.
He currently serves on the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges team that evaluates accreditation standards for higher education institutions in the United States.
