Dr Amin Akhavan Tabassi’s research focuses on leadership, conflict management, construction human resource management and development, teamwork, and sustainable housing development. He has a PhD in Project Management from the School of Housing, Building and Planning at the University of Science Malaysia where he is now a senior lecturer. He has an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering and over 12 years of experience in the areas of civil engineering and construction management. He gained his Project Management Professional (PMP®) credential from the Project Management Institute in June 2013.
Amin has over 20 ISI and Scopus journal publications, over 15 indexed, peer-reviewed research publications and conference proceedings, and few book chapters. He is leading two research projects on transformational leadership and conflict management in the Malaysian construction industry. He received Sanggar Sanjung Awards from USM for publications in high impact factor journals for the years 2011-2014.
