Dr Richard Andrews is responsible for the development of many University of Liverpool online programme modules. He has an MSc in Finance from the University of Leicester and a PhD in financial reporting from the University of Hull, investigating the extent of asset impairment amongst UK FTSE 100 corporations. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and has experience of working as an auditor prior to moving into education.
Richard has taught in the UK and in the Middle East, East Africa, Far East and South Pacific. He is currently employed as a Lecturer in Accounting at the University of Hull. He has published an ACCA research report and has co-authored several textbooks in the area of UK taxation. He is currently working on a range of academic publications in the area of fair value and asset impairment.
