How to apply

Entry requirements

In general, you will be expected to have a combination of:

  • Work experience. You may be expected to have a minimum amount of relevant working experience
  • Educational qualifications. This will usually be a bachelors or masters degree, depending on the programme for which you are applying; vocational and professional qualifications can also count
  • A good standard of written English. If English is not your native language, you will be asked to demonstrate a particular level of English proficiency

The application process

Applying for an online degree programme can take from several days to several weeks, depending on various factors. All applications start with an Enrolment Advisor (EA) and are then passed to the University Admissions Office for final approval.

Start the process early so that you will be ahead of the start date.

Applying involves these steps:

  1. Fill in the Request Information Form
  2. Discuss your goals, background, eligibility, and the application process with your EA
  3. Complete the online application form and forward supporting documents
  4. Pay the application fee
  5. Once your application has been accepted and you have been admitted, pay the reservation fee and sign a Student Agreement

Preparing to start your online studies

Before you begin your online studies, you’ll have access to our New Student Preparation Programme which aims to answer any questions you have about studying at postgraduate level, studying online, and managing your time and your finances.

The New Student Preparation Programme includes:

  • an extensive student support website
  • a series of webinars for new students with question-and-answer sessions
  • an Online Induction Course – a compulsory course that takes place in our online classroom environment to ensure that you know how to use the classroom when your degree programme begins. (Duration: about 5 hours, over several days)
