Liverpool – 1 March 2017 – The University of Liverpool is offering three new, fully online IT master’s programmes to meet the demands placed on organisations by rapid changes in technology. The MSc in Big Data Analytics, MSc in Cyber Security and the redesigned MSc in Information Systems Management offer working professionals the opportunity to develop sought-after skills in strategically significant IT specialisms to enhance their career development potential.
“The addition of these new master’s degrees strengthens the University of Liverpool’s reputation as a leading provider of innovative online programmes for working professionals. Focusing on cutting-edge trends and topics in IT, these programmes will help prepare students to devise solution-oriented approaches to today’s challenges and opportunities,” said Professor Frans Coenen, Director of Studies for the University’s online IT programmes.
Students on the online programmes will have the opportunity to develop and demonstrate practical skills through a bespoke cloud-based server. This educational platform will allow them to conduct simulations, manipulate large amounts of data, and work with different kinds of software as they complete practical tasks to support their professional development.
