Our Doctor of Business Administration is aimed at senior business professionals looking to take their careers to the next level, while continuing to work. Both educational qualifications and work experience are taken into consideration when you apply to the University.

In general, you will be expected to have the following:

  • A masters degree from a recognised institution comparable and/or equivalent to a British masters degree
  • A minimum of five years’ management experience at a senior level with practical knowledge of business or public organisations*
  • If you do not have a masters degree, you may still be eligible based on your professional experience and qualifications. We evaluate these applications on a case-by-case basis.

*In addition, you must have an affiliation with an appropriate organisation (for example, place of work, business, charity/NGO) which will provide the scope to accomplish the Action Learning modules and Action Research project.

English proficiency

You will be required to:

  • Demonstrate English language skills relevant to an academic programme and comparable to a minimum to a minimum of IELTS 7.0 or TOEFL 95 (Internet Based Test)
  • Successfully complete an Academic Writing Skills assessment
