Online Degree MSc in Project Management

Entry Requirements

Our online MSc in Project Management is aimed at professionals looking to further their careers in management and gain knowledge they can apply immediately in their work.

Both educational qualifications and work experience are taken into consideration when you apply to the University.

In general, you will be expected to have a bachelors degree from an accredited college or university, or a degree from a recognised institution comparable and/or equivalent to a British honours degree.

Applicants who do not directly meet the educational requirements will be evaluated on an individual basis, taking into account vocational and professional qualifications, and relevant working experience.

  • More than seven years' significant project/ programme management work experience, leading projects or programmes OR Certified as a Program Management Professional (PgMPSM) from the PMI or APM

ENGLISH PROFICIENCY

You must prove that you meet the minimum English language proficiency requirements for this programme by providing results of an IELTS/TEEP or TOEFL exam taken in the last five years unless:

  • You are a citizen of an English-speaking country (as defined by the UK government)*
  • You have completed a UK-equivalent bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral programme conducted entirely in English and were awarded a degree (you must show evidence of this degree)

Published work in English cannot be used as evidence of English language proficiency.

  • An overall score of at least 6.5, and
  • A score of at least 7 on each of the reading and writing elements, and
  • The IELTS reading and writing tests taken by candidates must be the Academic Reading and Academic Writing tests
  • CA score of at least 570 on the paper based test, or
  • A score of at least 88 on the internet based test (with a minimum of 22 in both the reading and the writing components), or
  • A score of at least 230 on the computer based test (with a score of at least 4.5 on the essay section of the test)
